Salsa beef

A while ago a friend, I think it was Angela,  made a comment that she puts salsa on beef like I do salsa chicken. So we picked up some stew beef and we tried it tonight. It was really simple, and we liked the taste a lot. It was a nice change from the norm.

1 package stew beef, about 2 lbs
1 jar of your favorite salsa
Enough cheese to cover the top

1 bag egg noodles

Put the salsa and the meat in the crock pot. Cook on low all day. Top with cheese and boil the noodles. Done. It takes about 15 minutes for the cheese to melt. That gives you just the time you need to make the egg noodles.

  1. Do you think zuccini would hold up in the crockpot if you cut it into large chunks to add a veggie?
