Pork dinner in the crock pot

I really don't know what to call this, but we liked it.Tonight was a happy surprise. I was literally playing with my food. It turned out really yummy. This was the first time I tried cinnamon in a savory dish. Hubby said it was "warming":

2 diced Granny Smith apples
2 cups diced butternut squash
2 tsp kosher salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp dried basil
2 small pork loins
1/2 cup dried sliced onions, but regular onions would work fine, I would use 1 medium onion

Toss it all in the crock pot. I cooked on high for 6 hours but I bet low all day would work. Shred the pork. We had it over noodles but I bet it would be yummy on its own if you are watching carbs.
