One of those days...
Maybe one of those weeks?
I am a Grumpy Bug right now, and no amount of hot tea is working to pull me out.
It is auditory overload, and there is no quiet to be had, not even with the ear protection thingies for shot-gun shooting over my ears...it is still loud here today.
Yes, we have ear protection meant to be worn when shooting a gun.
YES, I tried wearing them around the house.
My kids, God bless their souls, are loud. It doesn't matter if they are pitching fits (has happend a lot today) or laughing and playing (has happened too), my kids don't have a quiet button.
My dogs don't have a quiet button.
Why didn't God give Mommas the ability to push "mute" just a few moments out of each day?
I am hiding on the computer, posting about being grumpy, while my crew chases eachother around and around, alternating between fighting and laughing.
My ears hurt and I am grumpy.

ReplyDeleteJust think, you could have come to Missouri and I would have babysat so you could have had a quiet day. I'm laughing about the ear protection as I have my own secret stash right next to the secret stash of advil for headaches!

Or everything paused...mid stride...dogs and all:)..kkk.
The slow motion one would have me rolling on the floor crackin up! Can you picture your kidos and dogs in slow mo? That should bring a smile to your face, my dear friend. I KNOW it did. Confess...you giggled a bit:)
I had to laugh when I read this. You don't know how many times I have had the TV on or the radio and keep turning it down only to realize it isn't the show or music that is so loud because I've already turned it down to next to nothing, it is the kids I'm trying to turn down!
